5# ICE/IEEE ITMC:  9 DAYS LEFT FOR SUBMISSION

Dear Marc König,

With only 9 days left until the 15th of March 2018 we are quickly approaching the final deadline for full paper submissions at the ICE/IEEE ITMC Conference 2018 in Stuttgart. At the same time we are proud to announce a further Special Issue<http://www.ice-conference.org/Program/Special-Issues.aspx> on "Smart Services and Software Platforms". It will use the technology management perspective to look at the progress known under denotations such as Smart City, Smart Home, or Industrial Internet. The Special Issue will be sponsored by IEEE, one of the premier Journals associated to the IEEE Technology Management Society. Submission deadline for extended abstracts is April 30th, 2018.

In this context we are also proud to announce Stephen Cross, IEEE TEMS President-Elect and Tugrul U Daim, Editor in Chief, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management as speakers at the conference. Conference participants will also have the opportunity to interact with editors of our associated journals in a "Meet the Editors<http://www.ice-conference.org/Program/Special-Issues.aspx>" workshop.

Call for Papers

The 24th ICE/IEEE ITMC 2018 invites high-quality papers to be presented at this premier international event. Submissions should contribute to a substantial, original and previously unpublished research in line with the topics of the conference. This includes theoretical research papers that provide new concepts in the domain of engineering, technology, and innovation & entrepreneurship.
