CFP International Journal of Agent Technologies and Systems

CALL FOR PAPERS

The Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Agent Technologies
and Systems (IJATS) would like to invite you to consider submitting a
manuscript for inclusion in this scholarly journal.
 	www.igi-global.com/ijats
The following describes the mission, the coverage, and the guidelines for
submission to IJATS.

MISSION OF IJATS

The mission of IJATS is to disseminate and discuss high quality research
on emerging technologies and successful systems based on the agent and
multiagent paradigms. It features innovative findings from various fields
of science, engineering, and technology. IJATS is an interdisciplinary
journal that brings together researchers from academia, industry, and the
government to discuss conceptual issues and implementation of issues
using the agent approach in solving real-life problems. As a medium of
communication among those researchers and practitioners with interest,
the journal explores the benefits of the concepts, simulations,
constructions, and applications of agency theories beyond disciplinary
boundaries.

COVERAGE OF IJATS

IJATS covers conceptual frameworks, case studies, empirical analysis,
analytical and simulation models of agent anthropologies and sociologies,
and their application.

Topics to be discussed in this journal include (but are not limited to)
the following:

* Applications
   . Agent-based data mining
   . Agent-oriented software engineering
. Agents in electronic business and virtual organizations
. Ethical and legal issues pertaining to agency and multi-agent systems
   . Human-agent interaction, interface agents (agent-based user
     interfaces), and virtual humans
   . Software and pervasive agents
* Conceptual agent frameworks
   . Agent development environments
   . Agent models and architectures
   . Developmental and cognitive agents
   . Knowledge management and ontologies
   . Representation of agents
. Representation in agents modeling other agents and self
* Multiagent systems
   . Agent languages
   . Artificial social systems
. Information propagation and exchange in multi-agent systems
   . Inter-agent interaction
   . Learning in multi-agent systems
. Social and organizational structure in agent societies
*Simulations and constructions of agents
. Agent-based modeling and simulation, tools, and cases
   . Agent-based social simulations
. Emergent behavior in agents and agent societies
   . Multi robot systems

SUBMISSION

Prospective authors should note that only original and previously
unpublished articles will be considered. Interested authors must consult
the journal's guidelines for manuscript submissions at
http://www.igi-global.com/authorseditors/authoreditorresources/journaldevelopmentresources.aspx
prior to submission. All article submissions will be forwarded to at
least 3 members of the Editorial Review Board of the journal for
double-blind, peer review. Final decision regarding
acceptance/revision/rejection will be based on the reviews received from
the reviewers. All submissions must be forwarded electronically.

All submissions and inquiries should be directed to the attention of:
