---------- Apologies for multiple postings ---------- ==================================================================== 6th International Conference on Knowledge Capture (KCAP2011) Call for posters and demos June 26-29, 2011 Banff, Alberta, Canada http://kcap2011.stanford.edu/ ==================================================================== The KCAP2011 conference will feature presentations of 19 full papers, which have been selected from the 80 submissions received on the regular call for papers. Additionally, there will be six invited talks from researchers from academia and industry (http://kcap11.stanford.edu/speakers.html), a panel reflecting on 25 years of knowledge acquisition research, three workshops (http://kcap11.stanford.edu/workshops.html) and two half-day tutorials (http://kcap11.stanford.edu/tutorials.html). Now we solicit last-minute submissions for posters and demos to be presented during the poster and demo session at the conference. These posters and demos will be covering the same range of topics as the main conference: * Knowledge acquisition tools * Knowledge authoring tools * Knowledge extraction systems * Knowledge management environments * Knowledge capture for the Semantic Web and the Web of Linked Data * Collaborative and social approaches to knowledge management and acquisition * Learning apprentices * Mixed-initiative planning and decision-support tools * Acquisition of problem-solving knowledge * Knowledge-based markup techniques * Advice taking systems * Knowledge engineering and modelling methodologies Important dates (all deadlines are on 11:59PM Hawaii time) Poster and demo submissions: April 15, 2011 (only 10 days left) Author notifications: April 30, 2011 Submission details for this special call can be found at http://kcap11.stanford.edu/cfd.html.
