The conference aims at bringing together experts in software engineering and knowledge engineering to discuss on relevant results in either software engineering or knowledge engineering or both. Special emphasis will be put on the transference of methods between both domains. We invite the experts on related research subjects to submit workshop proposals in conjunction with SEKE2010. These workshops provide the imminent opportunities for students, researchers, and industry practitioners to investigate, discover, and exchange new research ideas, problems, challenges, and solutions on specific emerging areas in Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering. The accepted papers for the conjunct workshops will be reviewed and published in the Proceeding of SEKE2010 conference. We encourage the interested workshop organizers to send us half-day (or one-day) workshop proposals in the scope of SEKE2010 or related emerging subjects. Some possible areas (but not limited to) are listed as follows: - Green Computing and Software Engineering - Embedded Software Engineering - Search Engineering and Knowledge Engineering - Secured Software Development and Engineering - Service-Oriented Computing and Engineering - Software Validation, Tools, and Test Automation. The important dates for workshops in SEKE2010 are listed below: November 1, 2010: Preliminary Workshop Proposal submission due November 15, 2010: Feedback provided to the workshop proposers November 30, 2010: Final workshop proposal submission due March 15, 2010: Workshop paper submission due April, 15, 2010: Workshop paper notification (electronic) May 1, 2010: All final manuscript and author pre-registration due July 3, 2010: Workshop date Note: All workshop programs will be the part of SEKE2010 conference program.
