[apologies for multiple copies] CALL FOR PARTICIPATION RR 2007 The First International Conference on Web Reasoning and Rule Systems 7-8 June 2007, Innsbruck (Austria) Web site: http://www.wrrs.info ========================================================================= IMPORTANT DATES - Normal fee online registration: before May 20 2007 - Online hotel booking: before May 31 2007 - Late fee online registration: before June 3 2007 - Conference: June 7-8 2007 ========================================================================= The International Conference on Web Reasoning and Rule Systems (RR) aims to be the major forum for discussion and dissemination of new results on all topics concerning Web Reasoning and Rule Systems. RR 2007 brings together three previously separate events: the International Workshop on Principles and Practice of Semantic Web Reasoning (PPSWR), the International Conference on Rules and Rule Markup Languages for the Semantic Web (RuleML), and the International Workshop on Reasoning on the Web (RoW). This joint conference is devoted to all aspects of Semantic Web Reasoning, with an emphasis on rule-based approaches and languages. The reasoning landscape features theoretical areas such as knowledge representation (KR) and algorithms; design aspects of rule markup; design of ontology languages; engineering of engines, translators, and other tools; standardization efforts, such as the Rules Interchange Format activity at W3C; and applications. Of particular interest is also the use of rules to facilitate ontology modeling, and the relationships and possible interactions between rules and ontology languages like RDF and OWL, as well as ontology reasoning related to RDF and OWL. The full program of RR 2007 is now available on the conference website (http://www.wrrs.info). The program features two keynote presentations by Nicola Leone (University of Calabria, Italy) and Massimo Paolucci (NTT DoCoMo, Germany), and 29 papers presentations. The conference is supported by REWERSE and RuleML, and conveniently co-located with ESWC 2007 (The European Semantic Web Conference) and OWLED 2007 (The International Workshop on OWL: Experiences and Directions). Registration is now open: see the conference web site for details. We look forward to seeing you at RR 2007 in Innsbruck!
