Semantic Web Post-Doc Openings at Carnegie Mellon University The School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University has several Semantic Web openings for postdocs in the areas of: * Privacy and Pervasive Computing projects * Virtual Enterprise projects The ideal candidates will have strong theoretical and programming experience along with good written and verbal communication skills. Besides a deep understanding of Semantic Web concepts, the positions require familiarity with at least three of the following research areas: * Web Services * Web Security and Privacy * Learning Technologies such as case-based reasoning * Pervasive Computing * Enterprise Applications * Human Computer Interaction Initial appointments are for one year with option of renewal. The start date is negotiable and can be anytime during the first half of 2006. Carnegie Mellon offers competitive salaries and benefits.
