I have been experimenting on the possibility to fix bugs in RSS 1.0 while maintaining a higher degree of compatibility and without changing the namespace. The draft at http://esw.w3.org/topic/RSS deprecates several problematic properties and introduces better alternatives, where possible the new variants are superclasses of the old deprecated ones. Additionally it addresses the problem that merging the triples of two different versions of a RSS 1.0 causes incoherent rdf (multiple properties of seq with the same ordinal-number). I haven't used OWL in the schema but kept the changes to the current version small. While some cardinality restrictions could be useful I plead to be very conservative with this in order to facilitate future usage scenarios. reto
