CALL FOR PAPERS Work in Progress Session 11th IEEE Real-Time and Embedded Technology and Applications Symposium March 7 - March 10, 2005 Deadline: January 15, 2005 _______________________________________________________________________ Scope: The Work-In-Progress (WIP) session of RTAS 2005 invites contributions describing new and on-going research in embedded and real-time systems, theory, and applications, that relates to any of the RTAS topics. The main purpose of the WIP session is to provide researchers an opportunity to discuss their evolving ideas and gather feedback thereon from the embedded and real-time community at large. This year's co-location with the Embedded Systems Conference will allow even more interactions with the practicing embedded/real-time community. Ideas and techniques that exhibit unique and unconventional but promising approaches to important problems are especially welcome. WIP topics include all areas of RTAS coverage (please see RTAS CFP at http://www.cis.upenn.edu/group/rtas05/). The RTAS 2005 WIP session will be held during the symposium which runs March 7 - March 10, 2005 in San Francisco, California, USA. Accepted submissions will be presented at the conference and archived at the conference web site, as well as made available from the IEEE TC-RTS home page. Submission: Submissions to RTAS 2005 WIP are expected to describe original on-going work and should be limited to four pages in the standard two column format (single spaced, 10pt font). To submit a WIP paper, please email a pdf version of the paper and the contact information to the RTAS WIP chair Albert M. K. Cheng at the address below. Important Dates: Submission deadline: January 15, 2005 Notification: February 5, 2005 Final Manuscript: February 25, 2005 For additional information, please contact the RTAS 2005 WIP Chair: Albert M. K. Cheng Real-Time Systems Laboratory Department of Computer Science University of Houston Houston, TX 77204, USA Phone: 713-743-3353 E-mail: cheng@cs.uh.edu
