Just FYI, there is going be a beginners workshop on semantic technologies held at the NY Hilton on March 9, 2005 that is designed to provide background for beginners. The emphasis of the workshop is for publishers, so it might not be appropriate, but it could be a good starting point for everyone. IDEAlliance has organized the workshop and has been in consultation with Eric Miller from W3C who assisted us with determining the content, focus and format. It will begin with a keynote and then 3 brief tutorials. In the afternoon will be open industry discussion and Q&A. Iam new the semantic web and want to know how to get started on learning something about it. I know something about what they mean about the xml, rdf, ontlogy etc. Now i want to get to the practical side of it. So please do suggest how I can start about going through the practical side of the semantic web? Is there any search engine that searches for semantic data? also please show me some links on the internet where I can find semantic web implemented. Thanks for your time, Roshan Abraham
