Dieter, The OASIS geolang TC will publish URIs for that purpose: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=geolang While waiting for them, you might use the URIs defined in http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/language.xtm and http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/country.xtm The fact that this is from Topic Maps land doesn't matter, the meaning of the URIs is well defined and they suit RDF as well.
