The Program Committee emphasizes that the scope of the DC2003 Conference
Track is broad in the sense that it is NOT limited to research and
development focussing solely on the Dublin Core metadata element set.
Rather, the Conference Track seeks to bring together researchers and
implementers concerned with metadata issues in a broad array of contexts as
those issues affect both cross-domain and discourse/practice community
resource discovery, retrieval, use and management.
