ABOUT "WWW2002 Midyear: A Tech Update"
The goal of "WWW2002 Midyear: A Tech Update" is to provide attendees
with an overview of and status report on certain key web technologies.
The technical program will include comprehensive tutorials and highly
interactive workshops:
* Web Usability, Accessibility, and Mobility (full day)
* Web Services Security (full day)
* Semantic Web (full day)
* Introduction to SOAP and Web Services (full day)
* SOAP and .NET (half day)
* Meeting the Challenges of Web Applications Development:
	The Web Engineering Approach (half day)
This event is a collaboration between Geek Cruises and the International
World Wide Web Conference Committee (IW3C2). The IW3C2 is the
Association that organizes the academic conferences on Web technology.
The International Web Conference series brings together members of the
academic, research, and commercial communities to discuss a broad range
of web-related topics. The committee was organized at the first WWW
Conference in Geneva, Switzerland in October 1994 and is a registered
Swiss non-profit corporation. More information regarding the IW3C2 can
