This is a decent solution, IMHO. A question:
In the fragment above, does the first URI represent its resource, or the
URI itself? In other words, are you asserting that the URI identifies a
QName? If so, how then can you "dereference" it to point to what the
QName identified in the first place? Or are you saying that the URI "is"
a QName? Then how do you distinguish between that and the second URI's
use as representing a resource?
