RDF IG - Dan Brickley As the RDF Model and Syntax Working Group does not run any more, I am addressing this request to the RDF Interest Group to review the following document before the end of the last call period. Document to review for : Common Markup for micropayment per-fee-links: http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/WD-Micropayment-Markup-19990825/ * Last call ends: 30th September 1999. * Send comments to: www-micropay-comments@w3.org With this call for review, the W3C "Common Markup for micropayment per-fee-links" [1] enters the "last call" period. This document, formerly entitled "Common Markup for micropayment per-fee-links" is part of a series of Working Drafts to be specified by the W3C Micropayment Initiative. The series also includes the "Per Fee Link Handler (PFLH) specifications" and the "Common API from PFLH to wallets." Until 30th September 1999, the Electronic Commerce Interest Group, Chairs of W3C Working Groups, and interested parties are invited to review this document and send suggestions and comments to www-micropay-comments@w3.org. Comments and responses to them will be archived [2] for public reference. Comments that you wish to keep private to W3C Members may be sent to w3c-micro-markup@w3.org. To ensure that dependencies with other W3C Working Groups have been addressed, we urge the following Working Group Chairs to review the document before the end of the last call period: - WCAG Working Group - HTML Working Group - RDF Model and Syntax Working Group Once the last call period has ended, all comments will be evaluated. However this final Public Working Draft will be held at this stage to await significant implementation experience, and collect comments on the public mailing list. The amount of implementation received by 2000 March 31th on the mailing list will determine if this draft will be submitted for Proposed Recommendation is to occur. * Background This specification provides an extensible way to embed in a Web page all the information necessary to initialize a micropayment (amounts and currencies, paymentsystems, etc). This embedding allows different micropayment electronic wallets to coexist in a interoperable manner. The "Common Markup for Web Micropayment Systems" has been produced by the W3C Micropayment Markup Working Group [3] as part of the Micropayment Initiative [4].
