We are developing http://www.gein.de for the Federal Environmental Agency in Germany. GEIN (German Environmental Information Network) will be based on a RDF catalogue of Internet Resources. We will (probably) store the catalogue in Tamino (http://www.softwareag.com/tamino/). They support a "subset of XQL". We are not shure about how to query the catalogue, because it contains relations to a thesaurus and thus would require joins.
