Hi team, I want to bring up the issue of email lists. Currently I'm trying to ensure all technical discussions are done via the SIMILE public list. This is deliberate - when the hires arrive this will be a valuable source of information for them to get up to speed. However I am sensitive to the fact that for some people this may mean they are currently having to wade through a lot of SIMILE emails that are not of direct interest to them. There are a couple of solutions to this: 1. We can keep use the simile email list, but adopt the use of subject flags e.g. [making-corpus-rdf] so that people can use emails sorting tools to wade through messages. Any suggestions for other flags? 2. More difficult - we could start another email list for discussions. I'd be happy to hear suggestions from others here. For now, I'll tag emails [making-corpus-rdf] until someone suggestions something better? kind regards, Dr Mark H.
