In my absence from the call today, here are some updates: >1/ reconfirm plenary dates > December 16 and 17 Still viable, but may have a partial conflict on the 16th from a Mellon meeting. >2/ review status of open actions > OCLC NA - (mackenzie) > can they take a feed of names, foreach return possible NA hits? I'll forward an email I just got from Jeff Young about their NA Web Service. > VRA modelling choice dialogue (andy, mackenzie) Beyond what I said in my email to you earlier this week, I should probably talk to Andy on the phone and find out what he still needs. We may also need Eric's help on this. >4/ Corpus Data Acquisition > review open actions: > IMS for additional courses (mackenzie) You have all the IMS data I can get, for now. Last I heard we were going to use the VRA or CIDOC data to make more IMS records if we need significant volume for some reason. With the 21 courses' worth of records that you have now we should have sufficient examples to figure out what "fake" records need to look like. I have one additional lead for some metadata from the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse at OSU, but I haven't had time to contact them this week.
