RE: Comments on Motivating problems

Hi Kevin, 

Sorry, short keys that don't work will be the death of me.

In the section describing a controlled vocabulary:

"A controlled vocabulary is finite set of descriptors. It may optionally
provide a thesaurus of descriptors,  synonyms, preferred usage terms,
relationships among terms and aids to selecting the best terms
\cite{whatisacontrolledvocab}."

You had added a line:

"For example Expert Systems have long aided human diagnosis of 
illness in the medical industry."

This didn't seem relevant to controlled vocabularies. Does it belong
somewhere else?
