RDF, OAI, and application within Libraries

The following posts from the oai-implementors list
<http://oaisrv.nsdl.cornell.edu/pipermail/oai-implementers/> are relevant
to our current dialogue regarding application of RDF within DSpace.

Of particular interest are:
- examples of how others in Library settings are taking advantage of the
capabilities of RDF
- perceptions of positioning of RDFS vis a vis XML-Schema
- Carl Lagoze's positioning of this type of functionality with respect to
the OAI protocol for metadata harvesting
- Lagoze's reservations in the last message about pulling RDF support into
the OAI protocol.
