The XML (DTD schema) based approach is ideal for what you describe... It is extensible (The X in XML) and flexible to allow multiple "Document fragments" to be integrated. The data itself could be administered using a servlet, JSP, or any off the shelf XML editor... Maybe the Apache guys will consider it as a way to adminsiter Apache itself? Cheers, -Elias
