No you do not need to have the oracle machine local. You could use oraperl which is a modified version of perl. This way you do not loose all your work in perl and can use oracle. >>From www-rdb-request@w3.org Thu Mar 21 17:16:13 1996 >>Resent-Date: Thu, 21 Mar 1996 18:12:25 -0500 >>Resent-Message-Id: <199603212312.SAA00742@www19.w3.org> >>Date: Thu, 21 Mar 1996 15:11:34 -0800 (PST) >>From: David Dumaresq <david@kwantlen.bc.ca> >>X-Sender: david@trex >>To: www-rdb@w3.org >>Subject: Perl CGI Scripts -> Oracle Web Server >>Mime-Version: 1.0 >>Resent-From: www-rdb@w3.org >>X-Mailing-List: <www-rdb@w3.org> archive/latest/231 >>X-Loop: www-rdb@w3.org >>Sender: www-rdb-request@w3.org >>Resent-Sender: www-rdb-request@w3.org >> >>I would appreciate some suggestions for our foray into DB and Web.
