Dear QA IG, “Test Metadata” has been published as a W3C WG Note. This is the last document published by the QA WG and then the QA WG will be officially closed in the coming days. The main Editor of this document is Patrick Curran, Sun Microsystems. Future work is expected on the document. - Updates of the document - ISSUE: versioning of individual tests - Production of tools and/or guidelines to produce tests - Graphics to represent the model - Coordination with EARL 1.0 If someone wishes to volunteer in the QA IG to work with Patrick that would be welcome. This version: http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/NOTE-test-metadata-20050914/ Latest version: http://www.w3.org/TR/test-metadata/ Abstract: The definition and provision of metadata has proved helpful in a variety of ways during the test development and test execution processes. This document defines a minimal set of metadata elements that can usefully be applied to tests that are intended for publication within a test suite. -- Karl Dubost - http://www.w3.org/People/karl/ W3C Conformance Manager *** Be Strict To Be Cool ***
