Just for the record,
I have found these implementation reports at IETF. So it seems some WGs
at IETF do interop labs.
I can also notice that it seems something familiar in Protocol WGs more
than markup languages ones.

Due to the large number of BGP implementations and the small number
of responses, the editors took an informal survey to determine if
the length of survey was an issue. Three implementers responded,
and all indicated the length of the survey was the issue. Section 3
gives this informal survey results.
The editors have compiled the submitted survey results and the
informal survey results based on the submitted information.

This memo summarizes the results of the first interoperability event
for the Simple Middlebox Control (SIMCO) protocol. SIMCO is an
implementation of MIDCOM for controlling middleboxes, such as
firewalls and NATs. The test scenarios are described and the results
