HTML/XHTML Element/Attribute support table

Hi,

  As the QA Activity already provides a list of document type
declarations (http://www.w3.org/QA/2002/04/valid-dtd-list.html) I would
like to ask whether it'd be possible to publish a list of which
element/attribute combinations are supported by which HTML/XHTML
document type. The considering the increasing number of questions on
e.g. the www-validator mailing list which could easily be answered by
such a table it'd be very helpful. Back in march I already posted such a
list to www-archive, see

but the structure/layout could be improved and incorporating it into W3C
QA space would point far more people to it.
