AG:: The above description runs a risk of sounding too static as regards the server operations. In particular, we need to look at validation of content as it is accepted into the repository from which Web requests are served. This is not included in what is commonly considered server configuration at present. But it is the Quality thing to do. And like broken link checking, it is not necessarily the most cost-effective plan to assume the content-expert authors or designers do this thoroughly. From data engineering. You want to type-check on write before retaining the value. Not have to discover a type error on read (i.e. in the UA). I predict that we will be calling on this strategy for enforcing orthodoxy of content. So the application of checks in the process as content flows from external non-web resources lifted by web authors and integrated into web content update proposals integrated by website operations into the current web offering of the site. We need to look at the distribution of where checking transactions are performed throughout this pipeline.
