The draft extensions text of SpecLite [1] [2] is divided into 2 areas: designing extensibility into your technology (i.e., via the specification) and extensions affecting conformance. As a result of yesterday's telcon (19 Apr), the following is open for discussion...... 1. Designing extensibility into your specification - can this be done for all specifications or are there some technologies and areas (e.g., I18N, Accessibility) that don't apply? 2. The complexity inherent to DoV interaction is not presented. Should there be a discussion and/or requirement about the interrelationship between extensions and other DoV? Can this be accomplished with through examples and scenarios? 3. It may be the case that the second area, (extensions affect conformance) is not exclusive to extensions, applying to any optional behavior.
