QAWG, Call for volunteers (look for your name below to see if you are volunteered already!)... Follow up on my action from the last telecon. We have been arguing abstractions about specs and test assertions and test frameworks for a long time. So we should look at some real test suites and frameworks, especially as we may be about to step into a TA prototype project, or start outlining the goals of a Test subgroup. Two reasons: 1.) concrete illustration of TM principles, spec/TA relationships, etc 2.) basis to start to talk about potential QAWG-sponsored tools Volunteers needed: 1.) SVG and WebCGM work (Lofton). 2.) DOM (Dimitris is the natural choice) 3.) XSLT, lots of thoughtful framework design, from TCDL through Test Lab (DM should come to Tokyo; Kirill otherwise?) 4.) -- Other? SOAP (Kirill?), UAAG (anyone?), http(?), ... #1 and #2 ought to be good counterpoints, because they represent two extremes on scales such as formal specification, semantic and behavioral content, automatibility, etc Regards, Lofton.
