https://github.com/w3c/patent-policy/pull/2 What the Process docs calls Candidate Recommendation _Snapshots_ are what the Patent Policy calls Patent Policy _Drafts_. But meanwhile, the Process doc also has Candidate Recommendation _Drafts_, which are _not_ Patent Review _Drafts_. So there’s a confusing collision/disparity between the two docs in the oddly different ways in which _“Draft”_ is used. And regardless, “Patent Review Snapshot” is anyway to begin with an objectively better term for referring to what these things really are — which is, a static snapshot of the state a spec and its defined features at a particular point in time. “Draft” doesn’t capture that sense nearly as well. -- Michael[tm] Smith https://sideshowbarker.net/
