Hello, Twenty nine people participated in the 15-17 July 2002 Patent Policy Working Group (PPWG) face to face meeting, three by phone. The group discussed the following topics. Defensive suspension Licensing obligations for rescinded W3C Recommendations Core/Extension RAND exception proposal Exclusion timing A report from the Open Source/Free Software Task Force Excluding unpublished patent applications Exceptions to disclosure obligations The group also discussed their upcoming schedule.
