It might be, that Netscape 7.1 has a buggy implementation. Have you tried with the latest mozilla with p3p on? Note that P3P is off by default in mozilla[1]. Mozilla should support the link-tag[2]. But I don't know, if the implementation was mature enough at the time Netscape 7.1 was derived from mozilla. 1. http://www.mozilla.org/projects/p3p/ 2. http://www.xulplanet.com/references/xpcomref/ifaces/nsIPolicyReference.html Best, -- Rigo Wenning W3C/ERCIM Policy Analyst Privacy Activity Lead mail:rigo@w3.org 2004, Routes des Lucioles http://www.w3.org/ F-06902 Sophia Antipolis On Sat, Dec 06, 2003 at 11:10:00AM -0000, A Nageswararao wrote: > Hi > We implemented p3p in our site it is working fine both in IE 6.0 and Netscape 7.0 > But we are getting some problems with Netscape 7.1 version > > We Used link tag <Link REL="P3Pv1" href="http://mydomain.com/p3p/uk/p3p.xml"> in our page and we have set the Compact Header throug APache Server > > If we are using well known location it is working fine in all browsers > we have checked our policy with p3p validator and it was validated with no errors or warnings > > Can anyone clarify this > > Thanks and Regds > Naresh > >
