Erwin-- There are two ways to get into IE 6.0 to delete temp files and cookies. If you have a browser window open, you can click on "Tools" --> "Internet Options." Or, you can close all of browser windows, and right-click the big "E" icon on the desktop, select "Properties," and then delete everything. If you used the first method, the site that you were visiting will still be in the cache, even after you delete everything. If you use the second method, everything should be deleted. Hope this helps, -- jeff Jeff Finkelstein Customer Paradigm jeff@customerparadigm.com 303.473.4400 x 11 Read my latest article, "Minor Human Negligence Can Lead to Major Invasion of Privacy" http://www.eprairie.com/news/viewnews.asp?newsletterID=4152 Ask Question: http://www.customerparadigm.com/ask.htm Contact Me Now: http://www.customerparadigm.com/contactme.htm Free Newsletter: http://www.customerparadigm.com/newsletter.htm About Company: http://www.customerparadigm.com/company.htm Contact Info: http://www.customerparadigm.com/contact.htm Email Marketing: http://www.customerparadigm.com/email/index.htm Privacy Consulting: http://www.customerparadigm.com/privacyconsulting.htm -----Original Message----- From: www-p3p-policy-request@w3.org [mailto:www-p3p-policy-request@w3.org]On Behalf Of Erwin Andes Sent: Monday, October 14, 2002 1:11 AM To: www-p3p-policy@w3.org Subject: Question about Interner Explorer Hello, I use IE6. If I delete the complete history and all files in the directory "temporary internet files" including all cookies, I still find one address in my address line if I type the first letter the IE6 automatically recognise this website and shows the full path, like it is in your history/temporary internet files! It only happens with one website. The other sites are all gone. I think it is a stupid trick from the creators of this site. How can I delete this? Thank you! Best regards, Erwin Andes W.J.
