The overview presentation on the MMI Architecture that I posted a couple of weeks ago [1] failed to include links to two of the documents I referenced (Slide 16). Here are the links. 1. Interoperability Test: <http://www.w3.org/TR/mmi-interop/> http://www.w3.org/TR/mmi-interop/ This document describes an interoperability test, executed by various members of the Multimodal Interaction Working Group, to demonstrate interoperability of multimodal components which are implementing the "Multimodal Architecture and Interfaces" [2] specification. 2. Best practices for modality component design: <http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/NOTE-mmi-mcbp-20110301/> http://www.w3.org/TR/2011/NOTE-mmi-mcbp-20110301/ This document complements the Multimodal Architecture and Interfaces Specification [2] by providing guidelines and suggestions for designing Modality Components. Also this document shows several possible examples of Modality Components, (1) face identification, (2) form-filling using handwriting recognition and (3) video display. I hope you find these useful. For further information please see the full page of the MMI WG publications [3] and the main WG home page [4].
