This year, VRST 2009 is co-sponsored by ACM and the Virtual Reality Society of Japan (VRSJ). VRST 2009 will provide an opportunity for VR researchers to interact, share new results, show live demonstrations of their work, and discuss emerging directions for the field. This year, VRST received 99 submissions (61 full papers and 38 short papers) from labs from five continents. The international program committee was made up of 45 esteemed virtual reality researchers.
