Announcement: Workshop on Speaker Biometrics and VoiceXML 3.0, March 5-6, 2009 The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) announces the Workshop on Speaker Biometrics and VoiceXML 3.0 to be held March 5-6 2009 in Menlo Park. The goal of this workshop is to identify and prioritize directions for SIV standards work as a means of making SIV more useful in current and emerging markets, especially in integrating SIV into the VoiceXML 3.0. To participate in the workshop, you must submit a short (1-3 page) position paper on one of the topics listed in the call for participation, http://www.w3.org/2008/08/siv/cfp.html before December 18, 2008.
