Reference: http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-InkML-20061023/#user As compared with timing, the instrument capabilities in the ink source that feed a stylus-force channel are likely to be non-standard, varying from device to device. But this doesn't mean they can't be documented. Please consider using the Device Description Repository that the Device Description Working Group is developing as part of the InkML food chain, in terms of how to publish metadata that will allow third parties to meaningfully process the pen-force data without having to open a license negotiation. http://www.w3.org/2005/MWI/DDWG/ Al
