We would like to let you know that Sun Microsystems, Inc. and Hewlett-Packard have submitted a proposal for a Java Specification Request (JSR) to define a set of APIs for processing delivery context information represented using CC/PP. This JSR will enable interoperability between web servers and access mechanisms, facilitate development of device independent web applications, and bring CC/PP to the Java programming language. For more details of JSRs and the Java Community Process see http://www.jcp.org/ We would like to hear from JCP members who are interested in joining the list of suppporters or the list of initial members of the expert group. For more details of the proposed JSR please email us. For more details on how to become a JCP member see http://www.jcp.org/participation/membership/ Thank you, Luu Tran, Sun Microsystems, Inc. luu.tran@sun.com Mark Butler, Hewlett-Packard mark-h_butler@hp.com Mark H.
