- Please forgive me if my question is over simple - I am trying to understand how some mobile-phone SMS messages can get written into e-mail subject lines and vice versa in the reverse direction. Are there standard pieces of code to do this, or is it a more complicated mix of bespoke instructions depending on the mobile-phone protocol and the e-mail system? Perhaps if I knew the jargon, I'd realise that this is exactly what the list discussion right now is about? Sorry!
