Re: CC/PP vocabularies for devices

Since the descriptions are defined by the device manufacturers, and
since there is no registration procedure for profiles, we don't know. I
have not heard about anyone, though.

Note that if you want to, you can construct your own description of a
device (for instance using pieces from the UAPROF schema, as long as you
follow the CC/PP specifications). You can also invent your own elements.
All that is required is that you make the schema available at a
persistent URI (i.e. it does not go away for some periodof time).

Or you might want to prod the manufacturers of PDA:s. There are several
which use Linux now, they ought to be interested in diversifying
themselves.
