There are more than 30 search machines on imode in Japan, and they are comfortable to use. There is no frustration using Yahoo or one of the Japanese imode search machines on an imode phone. Actually, there is also a growing market of banner advertising on imode search machines - which would make no commercial sense, if these search machines would not be popular.
