> Is anyone out there writing pages in English that can be viewed by imode (ie > in compact html)? > -Kim > > > Kim Hickey > > Information Technology > > Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Tokyo > > * Phone :+81 (3) 5403 9676 > > * Fax :+81 (3) 5403 9868 Yes. You can look at our imode pages: http://eu-japan.com/i/ http://eurotechnology.com/i/ Also since the G8-Okinawa summit there is an English section of the DoCoMo imode menue - but the content is very different from the ordinary Japanese imode content. You can look at these pages using any web-browser, but they will only be rendered correctly on DoCoMo imode handsets (e.g. on a webbrowser some special characters appear as "?" even if your browser is Japanese enabled). You need to keep in mind that 99.9% of users are Japanese people, of which 97% don't speak English. Hope this helps - don't hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance regarding imode.
