NS: There was a W3C Advisory Board meeting, where they asked us (Brian, me,
and Bert), to join to talk about the charter status.

NS: said that BK suggested that charter renewals should be automatic.

NS thought that the committee would have further discussions to consider
this.

BB: The news about the current review is that the vote is OK. They have had
13 results so far. 12 positive and one doesn't have an opinion.

DC: We had a new MathML PR that came today from an unknown GitHub account (
https://github.com/w3c/mathml/pull/583).

DC: Possibly it was an AI.

DC: It found some typos.

DC: What is the policy for handling PR's from unknown sources?

BB: We do need to know a person behind it for IPR reasons. We need to know
who is behind the PR. We can accept typo suggestions. If the suggestions
are major, then we really need to know who is behind the suggestions.

DC said that the PR suggested workflow changes that DC has not tested and
is not sure about.

DG: What I've done in the past in organizational repositories is what you
did is ask them a question, if you're not sure, and then wait a couple of
days, and if you hear nothing back, then you assume it's an AI.

DC: I did put a question on one of the commit lines, so we'll see.

DG said that the Archive had a new CEO and board of directors.
