The best source we have is from the HTTPArchive and uses wapalyzer - it is flawed in a lot of ways, but you can see that the number of domains using these libraries is increasing (so are the number of sites crawled, so this might be somewhat misleading). You can kind of access this data through google's core web vitals tool... This link _should_ take you right to it <https://lookerstudio.google.com/s/vFFFFPvgzNY>, otherwise I've included a png in the email showing the same - the key points are that all of the lines go up steadily over time and currently mathjax is used on 23,064 origins, KaTeX on 3,788 origins and math.js on 3,738. cc'ing Barry from the HttpArchive to correct me if I've said something incorrectly, or in case he's interested in saying more. -- Brian Kardell :: @briankardell :: bkardell.com
