My guess is that the type of XML I showed at TUG 2014 (in Portland, Oregon), which is both well-structured -- all math expressions are XML trees -- and close to LaTeX, might be better than content MathML for generating Braille or voice. (I have neither the knowledge nor the interest required to undertake something like that.) -- Bill ________________________________ From: Neil Soiffer <soiffer@alum.mit.edu> Sent: Monday, September 18, 2023 8:48 PM To: www-math@w3.org <www-math@w3.org> Subject: Minutes: MathML TPAC meeting, 14 Sept, 2023 <https://sandbox.cryptpad.info/code/inner.html?ver=5.4.1#cp-md-0-agenda> . . . SD found that MathML content works better than presentation MathML for SD's Braille equation editor. . . .
