NS: Today is the last day for TPAC early-bird registration. NS is going to TPAC. BB: is uncertain about attending TPAC. NS: We will use the same meeting Zoom link and CryptPad minutes link for the MathML WG TPAC meeting as we do use for our weekly intent meetings. NS: said that our normal intent weekly meeting time conflicted with the TPAC ARIA group meeting, and that is why NS chose the Wednesday TPAC Intent meeting time. NS: The link for the non-payment-TPAC-registration option is at ( https://www.w3.org/2022/09/TPAC/registration.html). NS: While the TPAC intent meeting will be focused primarily on intent, the first part of the meeting will be reserved for general questions. <https://sandbox.cryptpad.info/code/inner.html?ver=5.0.0-05#cp-md-0-b-video-progress->b) Video progress? NS: TPAC videos are due at the end of the month. PL and NS are making videos. NS has also found a person to make a third video. NS will include DF's parentheses case as an intent example in NS's video. <https://sandbox.cryptpad.info/code/inner.html?ver=5.0.0-05#cp-md-0-c-other-updates>c) Other Updates SD, SN, and NS had a meeting on the accessibility appendix. SD: said that SN will produce another version which should almost be complete. NS finished the alignment marker section. DC said the alignment attributes in this section which are scheduled to be deprecated, should instead be removed. If something is deprecated, then its operation must be described, and it must still work. NS agreed with removing attributes instead of deprecating them. DC provided this link ( https://davidcarlisle.github.io/mathml/#deprecation-notice###2). MUS asked NS to replace NS's HTML italicized characters with simple italicized text characters. NS agreed. NS asked BM and DG if they used the "MS" element. DC said he uses MS elements it to document a FORTRAN library. <https://sandbox.cryptpad.info/code/inner.html?ver=5.0.0-05#cp-md-0-a-summary-of-where-we-are-at-issues-a-href-https-github-com-w3c-mathml-issues-398-398-a-a-href-https-github-com-w3c-mathml-issues-402-402-a-others->a) summary of where we are at (issues #398 <https://github.com/w3c/mathml/issues/398> #402 <https://github.com/w3c/mathml/issues/402>, others?) DC: We do not say what it does. NS will rework the section and make it a little more concrete on what should be happening. NS the appendix says it will have to be in the accessibility tree. NS: The spec should point to a google sheet with two tabs. One tab would be labeled "Intent core", and the second tab would be labeled "intent open". These tabs would contain the intent values used in these two categories. *ACTION* DG produced the original spreadsheet with three categories (core, open, and transition). DG will produce a new spreadsheet containing a core tab, and an open tab, which will be a merger of the original open and transition values. <https://sandbox.cryptpad.info/code/inner.html?ver=5.0.0-05#cp-md-0-b-bm-what-needs-to-be-done-in-the-spec->b) BM: what needs to be done in the spec? NS: An overall review of the spec would be useful. The committee members should review the areas they are most knowledgeable about. People are invited to review the entire specification. The "MS" discussion should be aligned with core. MUS: says the malign group is ready for merging. DC: Work remaining towards FPWD: (https://github.com/w3c/mathml/issues/342) **ACTION* NS will review this list and check off the items that have been done.
