Firefox 4.0 is imminent, so I updated the MathML browser test page at: https://eyeasme.com/Joe/MathML/MathML_browser_test.html Some observations: The STIX fonts look very nice. HTML5 makes writing MathML documents easier (no more XHTML). HTML5 Section 11.5 "Named Character References" lists all the named character references that an HTML5 document has by default. This eliminates the need to have to use Unicode numbers for characters. The W3C validator works with MathML in HTML5 documents. Firebug (an HTML developer plugin for Firefox) works with MathML. The Firefox MathML developers did a lot of work on improving the default look of MathML. Large operators (Sum, product, Integral, etc) are larger by default. As can be seen in the "nested roots" test, nested roots are much improved. Joe
