Hi Jacques, Sunday 2010-10-24 20:34 Jacques Distler: > 1) the fact that xlink:href support in MathML has been broken in Gecko, seemingly forever > > https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427990 Despite that bug report, it still works for me – on Linux (using Firefox 3.6.11): The links are not displayed as links (i.e. no underlining, no hand cursor, etc.), but you can activate them with the middle mouse button. IIRC on Mac OS it also still works (with Cmd+Click). Only on Windows, I think, it does not work, but I'm not sure about that. At http://wiki.openmath.org/?uri=http://www.openmath.org/cd/arith1 you can find a lot of xlinked symbols. > 2) the MathML 3 Spec adds an href attribute to the language > > should itex2MML stop emitting @xlink:href in favour of emitting @href? … so from that point of view I would probably make it configurable, as long as Gecko does not yet support MathML 3's @href.
