Hi,
We've discovered a difference of opinion on how scripts should align in
tensor notation. Should tensor notation scripts applied to an italic
character align (a) at the italic angle of the character or (b) vertically?
The attached image demonstrates the two cases: in (a) the scripts are
aligned at the same angle as H's italic angle and in (b) they are vertically
aligned. Which is preferred? If you have any references or examples, please
let me know.
