The errata document for MathML2 has been updated: http://www.w3.org/2001/02/MathML2-errata The most important entry this time is E14: New DTD files located at http://www.w3.org/Math/DTD and http://www.w3.org/Math/characters Thus the DTD that has been developed at http://www.w3.org/Math/DTD/mathml2/mathml2.dtd should now be considered as a normative update for the DTD given in appendix A. As explained in the "characters" page listed above the principal reason for the update is to bring MathML into line with Unicode 3.1 and 3.2 which have both been published since MathML2. There is also an XHTML + MathML DTD http://www.w3.org/Math/DTD/mathml2/xhtml-math11-f.dtd based on this new mathml2 DTD and in addition using a method to avoid bugs in some software's handling of "plane 1 characters" see the documentation at the above links for more details.
