The symbols (if by that you mean the characters) are supported
as 
<ci>&iff;</ci>  (or <ci>&#8660;</ci>)
<ci>&lArr;</ci> (<ci>&#8656;</ci>)

There are not ready defined content mathml elements for these operations
but you may use ci as above, or perhaps better
<csymbol definitionURL="....">&iff;</csymbol>
where the URL points to a suitable definition of teh concept, perhaps
pointing back into your online tutorial.
