Yes.

The XSL stylesheet at math/XSL is basically an identity transformation
with a few bells and whistles added for MathML.

So if you have (say) a docbook to xhtml transformation, all you need to
do is replace the "identity" transfrormation by your desired
transformation and keep the bells and whistles.

If you have any specific problems feel free to ask again. (But I may be
offline for a while after today).
